Oakley Builders & Excavation comes out of a family that built things. Travis Angelo started in construction at 17, working alongside family who were already in the trade, and it stuck. He went to college, then followed his father into law enforcement for ten years. Wanting to work with his hands and his head again, he came back to what he grew up around — and today that means the ground under the building: excavation, driveways, drainage, grading, land clearing, foundations and septic systems for homeowners across Columbia County and northern Dutchess.

Oakley Builders is owner-run. Travis prices every job himself, is on the machine, and is the one who texts you back — whether it is a single driveway or a full site. When a job needs more than one machine or another trade, he brings in operators and subcontractors he has worked with, fully insured, and stays your one point of contact from the first site walk to the final grade. No layers, no hand-offs, no surprises. If it involves moving dirt, shaping ground or getting water to go where it should, we do it.
